The Location

Located south of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Patan Durbar Square, Lalit Heritage Home offers a stunning view of the 17th-century palace complex and the majestic Himalayan mountain range. Immerse yourself in the city of artisans, as Patan is known for its finest craftsmen in metal works, wood- and stone carving. Explore the local shops selling brass goods, and witness the woodcarvers at work while shopping for souvenir items such as statues, traditional vessels, bells, or singing bowls.

Indulge in the rich cultural heritage of Nepal by visiting the Golden Temple or Hiranya Varna Mahabihar, a monastery dedicated to Lord Buddha. Admire the exceptional wood carvings and repousse work at this 12th-century masterpiece. Explore the Kumbeshwore temple, the oldest five-story temple in Nepal from the 15th century, dedicated to Lord Shiva.
